You can also get a working copy from which will give you a starter disk with OS 7.5.3 on it as well as Stuffit v5.5 already decoded. I downloaded a copy of Ardi's Mac Emulator known as Terminator to unstuff Stuffit and then used HFVExplorer to put it into my Hard Drive. HFVExplorer will automatocally handle the extension and either strip out everything are leave it alone. In HFVExplorer open the directory with your file and place it into your hard drive at the top of HFVExplorer Directory. Just go into Windows Explorer and to the Basilisk directory.ĭouble-click on the file that is your Mac Hard Drive which will open HFVExplorer. I ran into that problem and worked it but can't actually tell you the steps taken as I now run the system using stuffit expander as second nature - like WinZip.
